Troubleshooting
Use these checks before contacting support.
I cannot sign in
Check your email and password, request a password reset, or try your selected Google or Apple sign-in again. If you recently changed your email, check both inboxes for confirmation messages.
My account looks empty
Refresh the page and make sure you are signed into the same account you used before. New accounts may need a moment to prepare starter portfolio data.
A trade failed
Common causes include an invalid symbol, unavailable market price, insufficient virtual cash, insufficient simulated shares, too many rapid requests, or trying to trade outside the currently selected challenge context.
News or search is empty
Market-data sources may be unavailable, delayed, rate limited, or missing coverage for the requested symbol.
Friend or challenge data is missing
Friend activity appears after requests are accepted and friends place paper trades. Challenge leaderboards may require joining the challenge, waiting for rankings to update, or verifying campus access for private campus competitions.
Campus verification did not arrive
Check the school inbox, spam folder, and whether you typed the school email correctly. Verification links expire, so request a new one from Account Settings if needed.
